Funkmeister

Kenny K's digistamps and this week's Kenny K's Krafty Girlz 2x2 challenge have got the 'juices' flowing - here's another!

The digistamp is Funkmeister - he totally rocks!  I've used copics to colour him - see list below, and he's no a doodlebug paper from the Glitter pot.  The papers are distressed with fired brick, 2 papers, 2 red ribbons, 2 red metallic candies from Craftwork Cards.  I've also glittered his cape and shoulders with Art Institute glitter in Christmas Red.   The sentiment is a digistamp of my own creation  - so 2 digistamps  too.

Copics:  Blue - B63, B66, B69.    Red - R59, R46, R29, R27.    Orange  YR18, YR16, YR12.  Skin - E25, E13, E21,  E11m R32.  Hair - E7, E57, E71

Better than Icecream

What a horrible couple of weeks!  Conservatory roof is being replaced, dust and muck everywhere so cleaning like a demon all the time - and NO CRAFTING!

Today I rebelled.

Here's one I made for my neice!

And hey - it fits the Kenny K Krafty Girlz 2x2 Challenge, and the Stamp and Create Pink challenge!

The paper is a Bobunny petal pushers in aqua with a pink reverse, the image is Kenni K's Movie Star digistamp, coloured in copics (my bad, i didnt note the numbers :(  )  and the sentiment is a self generated digi stamp.

Hope you (and she) like it

Moments

This one I made cos I LOVE this stamp!

It's a Sweetpea stamp that I bought from Stamp and Create .  The papers are BoBunny and Bazzill bling (who can live without Bazill), with a stamped sentiment that I bought at Alexander Palace this year (NEVER going again).  Its coloured with Copics, and her hair and tail are glittered with Art Institute glitter in seashell, and the magnolia Doohickey dragonflies are glittered with Art Institute glitter in lavender.  The sentiment and papers have been distressed with Milled Lavender (Tim Holz)

Miss You

OK - there's a whole host of 'fall colour' challenges out there - and I wanted to do a man card for my gorgeous hubby ( I really am very lucky) - so here's one for the Lili of the Valley challenge 68 too!

I used the Lili of the Valley Lazy afternoon stamp, on basic grey papers.  I wanted a sepia effect, which I think I've managed with the brick beige and barely beige copics, with raw silk and eggshell copics too.   I used nesties to diecut the image and the scalloped matt, and magnolia doohickeys for the ferns and dragonfly. The dragonfly has been glittered with Art Institute glitter in seashell (I know its a man's card, but its not one of mine without glitter!).  I've distressed it with Antique Linen (think that's becoming a bit of theme of mine to - hey ho)

Hopes and wishes

Got a Christening today, and so a 'wishes card' for Cammie.  I'm not overtly religious myself - believe there is a a higher being - can't believe its a bloke tho - so I've included the Irish Blessing as the words inside...
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you

I've used 'Angel Boy' from Secret Crafters Manga collection, on a Nitwit paper (and a couple of other miscellaneous papers) distressed with Weathered wood.  The edges have been glittered with Faded Denim distress sparkles (still not sure about these), and the wings and moon with Art Institute glitter in Seashell - I love that stuff.     I've used nesties to cut the circle and quarter moon, and coloured with Copics.

I'm entering this one in the Magical Monday Challenge - Back to Nature - it reminds me of October Skies - Blue and Grey tones with a hint of acorn!.    I've also entered this in the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Distressing

Happy Thoughts!

Had a fab day out yesterday with niece and friend - and bought a handbag to die for and a ridiculously expensive pair of jeans!.  Thought I'd round it off with a thank you card.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat  (Victorian Christmas) distressed to within an inch of its life  with Fired Brick, and then stickled around the edges to get some curl on.  The lace and roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com/, and the sentiment is an old Hero Arts stamp.  My flower girl is from the Gothic cute range at Tiddly Inks (digi downloads).

Copics:  Red dress  R24, R27, R29, Hair E19, E18, E25

I've entered this for the Lili of the Valley Challenge #67 Bev's Sketch and Totally Stampalicious Totally Thankful

Dreaming

Made this for my honorary niece (long story) who is feeling a bit down at the moment, and had to share so here's my first blog post

I  used the Forest Blue stamp from Sweet Pea designs available from stampandcreate.com (whizzy service), with Magnolia doohickeys, Nestie ovals, and flowers from Wild Orchid crafts (again fab and whizzy service). I coloured the stamps with copics  and glittered with Art Glitter (Calypso Blue on the wings and Blossom around the Moon).  The paper is a Kanban paper that I never thought I'd find a use for.  Hope she (and you) like it!

Copic Colours  (Blues B91, 93 and 95, Skin E00, E000, E21, R21, Moon E50)

I've entered this for the Stamp and Create Pearls and Gems Challenge.
